Summer 2024: Greenstage's Henry VI, Parts 2 & 3. Freja played Duchess Eleanor Gloucester, Jack Cade, Rutland, and Lady Grey. This was her first experience with outdoor theatre and allowed her to practice endurance and healthy voice work in parks of variable sizes during their six week run.

Henry VI

Pride and Prejudice

April 2022: Lizzie Bennet in Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice. Being somewhat of a raucous comedy--unusual for an Austen tale--it was an exciting challenge to toe the balance between tradition and modernity, especially with such a well beloved story and character. Given the length of the process, the COVID-19 accommodations and restrictions, and the scope of the character, it was also a welcome exercise in commitment, work ethic, cooperation, and flexibility.

BYU's Vintage Broadcast Podcast

Fall 2021: The director (Stephanie Breinholt) and a small group of students, wanting to continue to create amid the most restrictive lockdown conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, produced, recorded, and released 8 podcast episodes of well known stories from varying genres. Students were responsible for their own equipment and had the opportunity to become very familiar with the recording process. Roughly every week, the students were given a new script, with one session to record their lines and one session to go back for pickups. The entirety of this first season of the Vintage Broadcast Podcast can be found here

Prothero

Summer 2021: Freja had the opportunity to take part in the Salt Lake City Fringe Festival with the original production Prothero (written by M.E. May) The work focused on themes of Death, justice versus mercy, and connection amid tragic circumstances through a focus on puppetry and physical theatre. Captained by a tightknit production team, the process was exceptionally collaborative and stretching for all involved.
